Seeing Locality: Art and Community Intervention
This one month intensive course invites students to investigate and engage the local community with the intention of creating a number of site-related interventions. Through this investigation, students will work both collaboratively and individually to bring into question ideas relating to site specificity, public art, property, public vs. private, mapping, community, history, environment, architecture, landscape and other nuances of our local built world.
