"Over[site] – Relocation and the Site-specific"
Students from the University of Illinois present documentation of site-specific projects and autonomous objects that relate to Urbana-Champaign as a specific location – historically, spatially, materially and intentionally. Through an intense engagement with the built and natural environment, these artists have created on-site works in tangent with historical research of the site. The culmination of these investigations reveals the artist’s conception of place and space within Urbana - Champaign.
