Figure Drawing I
Figure I aims to open the hands of new artists. Many students have had the singular experience in drawing as a practice of rendering, often only working in pencil. In Figure I my goal is loosen up students methods with the introduction and practice of daily gestures with heavy charcoal. Students learn to look, think quickly, trust their abilities and get comfortable with making drawings that are not always perfectly and realistically rendered.
