After researching kit housing, sold at the turn of the century, I discovered an abandoned Aladdin Home in a blip of a town that used to be called Lickskillet, Illinois. While working on a separate installation in the house, I spilled an entire quart of institutional, green paint. This video (here presented as a slide show) is in part documentation of me cleaning up the spill several days later. But the video also captures ideas about the fate of my painting practice and raises questions about fact and fiction in art documentation.
